Actor and playwright Sam Shepard passed away at the age of 73. The Oscar-nominated actor and Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist, died on Thursday from complications from ALS. Fellow actors and artists have taken to social media to share their love and respect for Shepard. He most recently appeared on Netflix's "Bloodline," and won the pulitzer prize for drama in 1979 for his play "Buried Child." Actor Don Cheadle called him a "hero" and shared the time they met in New York. Rain Wilson called him a legend, and many others expressed their condolences.
