VIDEO : Tim Curry Originally Played Joker In 'Batman: The Animated Series'

Although Star Wars legend Mark Hamill is the best known animated version of the Joker from "Batman: The Animated Series," the actor wasn?t always the first choice of actor to provide the vocals of the Clown Prince of Crime. It was revealed at San Diego's Comic Con, that Tim Curry originally recorded lines for the Joker. Before The Animated Series ever made it to air, the powers tha be made the tough decision to recast the part.
Hamill is one of the most famous voice actors to play the animated villain.
