After Kid Rock announced he was running for Senate, a concours-twitter.htm">twitter user jokingly tweeted, "Oh man, Sheryl Crow must be rolling in her grave right now." Crow responded quickly by saying, "Dude, I"m still alive." She even wrote a song at the recording studio she was working that day in response. She also tweeted the lyrics so fans could read along. Some of the were, "Dude I'm still alive. I'm like Gloria Gaynor. No matter what you post online. Fake news or lies. Dude I'm still alive."
