VIDEO : Mark Duplass Talks About Getting James Van Der Beek For 'Room 104'

'Room 104,' the latest project from brothers Jay and Mark Duplass, was a risk for HBO, but they were willing to take it due to the Duplass' string of recent successes. The anthology dramedy is set in one room of an American motel and it stars Dawson's Creek alum James Van Der Beek in one episode. The show premiered on Thursday at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery where Mark Duplass opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how they scored Van Der Beek for the role. He said, "We knew him socially a little bit and we always talked about working together." He went on to say, "Unleashing that other side of James Van Der Beek was really fun for us."
