53-year-old actor Rob Lowe surprised a fan battling cancer with a heartwarming message on Tuesday. According to ET, 48-year-old Alex Charpentier is a single mother, nonsmoker and marathon runner who was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer 13 months ago. Lowe sent a sweet video message to lift her spirits. ?How are you, Alex? Word has gotten back to me that you?ve been a longtime supporter of mine and I can?t tell you what that means to me,? he said.
