Lamar Odom is got candid about his struggle with drug abuse in an emotional new essay for The Players' Tribune. The 37-year-old former NBA star opened up in his own words about his nearly fatal experience in 2015, when he was placed in a medically induced coma after he was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada. Odom explained "Pretty much every second of free time that I had, I was doing coke," then saying "I didn't want to control it." Lamar said his life spun out of control when his son, Jayden, died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2006 at just six months old.
