According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon Studios will self-distribute director Woody Allen's upcoming film, Wonder Wheel. The movie, which will close out the New York Film Festival in October, will be released by the streaming giant on December 1. 'Wonder Wheel', a period drama set in New York in the 1950s, stars Kate Winslet, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake and James Belushi. In addition to 'Wonder Wheel', Amazon has also worked with Allen on his 2016 movie 'Cafe Society' and the TV series 'Crisis in Six Scenes'.
