Amy Schumer was originally attached to the upcoming Barbie film, but she dropped out recently due to "scheduling conflicts." Now, Anne Hathaway has been announced as Schumer's replacement and Schumer says she thinks Hathaway will make a "perfect" Barbie. The Sony movie has been described as a "fish-out-of-water tale about a woman that slowly awakens to the fact that she doesn?t fit into the perfect land of Barbies and journeys to the real world." The movie has a scheduled June 29, 2018 release date.
