Some fans expressed disappointment, after learning that Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps' recent "race" with a great white shark, was fake. Channel 24 explains that the race, which Phelps lost, was with a CGI shark. Shown in a segment for Discovery channel's Shark Week, the Olympian addressed critics on Facebook. He wrote, that the production explained how the race would work and that quote, "people decided not to listen." Phelps says that it was a dream come true to learn about sharks. He added, ""If somebody wants to get into the water and race alongside a shark go ahead," saying ..."It would be interesting."
