Last week Penguin Random House and BBC Books confirmed an upcoming series of Doctor Who stories, including fiction, nonfiction, novelty, audio and action. The series is aimed at introducing the long-running show to new audiences as well as indulging die-hard fans. In a statement, BBC Books said it's pleased to continue "publishing alongside Doctor Who...particularly as the series enters this exciting new phase," referring to the new 13th Doctor, Jodie Whittaker, who will be the first female to play the iconic character.
