At San Diego Comic Con, Todd McFarlane ended rumors when he announced that the next movie based on his iconic character Spawn will finally be happening with McFarlane set to direct. The comic book creator has talked up some A-list actors to potentially star in the Spawn reboot, including Leonardo DiCaprio. However, fans think the likelihood of the Academy Award-winning actor starring in the film is small, as DiCaprio does much bigger budget work. 'Spawn' follows a government assassin named Al Simmons who arrives in Hell after being killed and is offered an opportunity to return to Earth if he agrees to lead an evil army.
