Coco Austin's latest hair-do caused some some controversy on social media. The 38-year old model, mom, and wife of actor Ice-T took to instagram last week to show off her new braids. She told fans that she was calling this look "The Coco Swoop" and added that she names all of her hair styles. Fans were quick to take to her social media, calling the look cultural appropriation. She later defended the braids in instagram videos and said "at the end of the day, this shouldn't be a race war. This should be a 'human thing.' Right? Everybody should be able to do it. "
