Nicolas Cage was spotted in Kazakh costume at the Astana Film Festival's opening night. The actor was a VIP guest at the event and he reportedly told his hosts, "I would be pleased to participate in some film project on the territory of Kazakhstan." He went on to say, "I enjoyed the architecture of your capital. What I saw reminded me of an old black-and-white film that depicted the future." The Oscar-winning actor, who appeared in a traditional Kazakh coat and hat said he's been concentrating on "films of lower budget" because "they have an interesting approach to cinematography."
