VIDEO : Putin Praises Director Oliver Stone Following Premier Of 'The Putin Interviews'

On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Oscar-winning Hollywood director Oliver Stone on his recently released documentary The Putin Interviews. Putin was quoted as saying by Russian news agency Interfax, "I mostly liked Oliver Stone himself. He is an unusual and very profound person and a very balanced and comfortable interlocutor." Previously, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov had said Stone was "talented and unpredictable when it comes to creative expression." The four-part The Putin Interviews premiered on Showtime on June 12th and aired on Russia's state-run Channel One starting on June 19th.
