At the D23 Expo in Anaheim last week the now expanded Disney family welcomed several pop culture heroes as Disney Legends. Marvel's Stan Lee and Carrie Fisher were among the award winners.
Bob Iger, the Chief Executive Officer of Disney introduced the Jedi, Mark Hamill to the packed house at D23, "For the diehard Star Wars fans, he certainly is revered as Luke Skywalker," Iger said. "The world has held its breathe for his return to that role since that last scene in The Force Awakens.
