According to reports, Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk topped Luc Besson's 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets' during the two movies' respective debuts Thursday night. According to TheWrap, the World War 2 epic 'Dunkirk' raked in $5.5 million during its box office debut Thursday and is on track to make $40 million its opening weekend. Meanwhile, TheWrap adds that the sci-fi flick 'Valerian' grossed $1.7 million during its own Thursday evening box office debut and is on track to make between $18 and $22 million its opening weekend.
