Actor Ben Affleck?s relationship with the role of the Caped Crusader has been a rocky one from the get-go, with many fans and comic book purists enraged over Affleck's casting as the Dark Knight after his performance in 2003's "Daredevil." And now reports are circulating, that Warner Bros. may be preparing for a Ben Affleck exit from the DC Extended Universe, and the role of Batman. Even though Affleck's performance was one of the bright spots of the otherwise critically panned "Batman V Superman," the actor has not been able to shake the backlash and pressure that thrust on his shoulders, with subsequent news of Affleck taking on directing duties for a stand-alone film dividing fans further. But with "Justice League" due out in theaters later this year, one thing's for sure: fans shouldn't expect any big shake-ups with Batman in the immediate future.
