VIDEO : Lionsgate Releases Trailer For Latest 'Saw' Movie, 'Jigsaw'

On Thursday, Lionsgate released the first trailer for "Jigsaw," the Saw horror movie franchise?s return to the big screen. The trailer features the voice of John Kramer, aka ?Jigsaw,? played by Tobin Bell, a character who died in 2006's Saw III. Also featured are the customary death traps, as well cops befuddled by how Jigsaw?s games continue despite his being dead. And of course, the trailer also showcases Jigsaw?s infamous tricycle-riding puppet avatar, Billy. Made for only $1.2 million in 2004, "Saw" was the feature debut of director James Wan, and that film made over $100 million worldwide. Over the course of several sequels the Saw seroes managed to haul in a whopping $873 million worldwide. But following 2010?s "Saw 3D: The Final Chapter," the movies stalled, with fan interest waning. But now Lionsgate hopes to resurrect the franchise. Directed by the Spierig Brothers, Jigsaw is scheduled for release October 27th - just in time for Halloween!
