Lena Dunham will be joining the cast of American Horror Story season seven.
Co-creator Ryan Murphy made the announcement Thursday morning on Twitter.
Dunham's addition to the cast has been met with near universal derision and hatred from AHS's loyal fan base.
Only Murphy has publicly applauded Dunham's casting.
The title of the new season is yet to be revealed.
The show is rumored to be based on the 2016 election.
The big title reveal will happen on Thursday evening at Comic-Con.
