Unfortunately for Murphy, his latest casting choice has angered fans.
On Twitter, Murphy announced that his friend, Lena Dunham, would be joining the American Horror Story family.
The news has not gone over well with fans of the series.
Dunham is a divisive figure, to say the least.
She has earned her fair share of negativity and derision.
Many fans rejected the decision and seemed to be rejecting the show based on Dunham?s involvement.
