If audiences want to walk out on David Lowery's new film, "A Ghost Story," he says that the pie scene is the perfect time. The director, writer and editor of the new flick starring Rooney Mara, spoke candidly about the "meaning of life" film at Arclight Hollywood on Tuesday. The pie scene, The Wrap reports, shows a sad Rooney Mara sitting on the floor quote "devouring a full pie in (a) real-time take as her dead husband (Casey Affleck) watches from afar as a ghost." The binge eating shot was filmed in a single take and lasts nine minutes. Mara's dessert of choice was a vegan chocolate pie, that Lowery reportedly tasted at the end.
