VIDEO : 'Star Wars' Actor Calls Out 'GoT' For Lack Of Diversity

John Boyega, known for his role as Finn in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," has spoken out on the lack of diversity in some of Hollywood's biggest hits. The actor told GQ, "There are no black people on Game of Thrones," and, "You don?t see one black person in Lord of the Rings." "Game of Thrones" has featured a few black actors, but only two have had recurring roles -- Jacob Anderson as Grey Worm and Nathalie Emmanuel as Missandei. George R.R. Martin, the writer of the book series of which the TV series is based, said in 2014, ?Westeros around 300 AC is nowhere near as diverse as 21st century America, of course. But with that being said, I do have some ?characters of color? who will have somewhat larger roles in WINDS OF WINTER."
