Alicia Vikander has fulfilled a childhood dream by landing the role of Lara Croft in the 'Tomb Raider' reboot.
Vikander grew up being fascinated by "big adventure films" like the 'Indiana Jones' franchise starring Harrison Ford.
The actress is delighted that she can now bring that type of action story to the big screen.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly she said "to do an action role has always been a child's dream of mine."
Vikander replaces Angelina Jolie, who played Lara Croft in two Tomb Rader movies in the early 2000s.
