According to James Gunn, the Marvel character Adam Warlock, who appearance was teased at the end of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2', will not appear in the third and fourth Avengers movies. Gunn made the announcement on Twitter in response to a fan's question, saying, "There is definitely no Adam Warlock in Infinity Wars. After that, you?ll have to wait and see." The news comes as a surprise to Marvel fans of the Infinity War comic storyline, as Warlock plays a significant part in the plot. Nevertheless, with 'Infinity Wars' already jam-packed cast, the absence of Warlock may actually make sense and leave time for the character to make his debut in Guardians 3 instead.
