VIDEO : 'The Little Mermaid' Will Music Written By Lin-Manuel Miranda

Lin-Manuel Miranda has been hired to write new songs for the live-action remake of ?The Little Mermaid.? He will be working with the original film?s composer Alan Menken to write the songs. Menken stated in a recent interview, ?For the live-action ?Little Mermaid,? I?m writing additional songs with lyrics by ?Hamilton? and ?Moana? songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda.? Fans of Miranda are super excited for him, because he has revealed in several interviews that he is a huge fan of ?The Little Mermaid.?
