Aaron Carter, brother of Backstreet Boys' singer Nick Carter is accused of drunken driving and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and paraphernalia.
According to police officials Carter's vehicle was stopped on a highway in Cornelia, which is about 80 miles northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. Aaron Carter has made a statement following his arrest on Saturday. The statement claims that the singer was "aggressively" arrested by police officers after requesting help to fix a tire at an Auto Zone. The statement also targets Carter's older brother Nick. He wrote, "If my own Blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?"
