The episode featured appearances by Kevin Hart and Marlon Wayans. The only recent MTV series with a higher-rated debut was the may revival of Fear Factor. Prior to ?SafeWord? was a new installment of ?Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ?N Out.? it earned a 0.8 in the main demographic. This made it the highest-rated episode of the series since its return to MTV in 2016.
