VIDEO : Zachary Quinto Says He Probably Won't Be In 'Star Trek: Discovery'

Since the upcoming "Star Trek: Discovery" is set only a decade prior to the events of "Star Trek: The Original Series," fans have begun to wonder if Spock will make an appearance. When asked about the possibility, Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the 'Star Trek' reboot movies, says a cameo in "Star Trek: Discovery" ?probably? won?t happen. The actor told Entertainment Tonight, "There is an endless combination of possibilities and stories and characters and I don?t feel like they'll need me. I feel like they'll be able to create an opulent world of much drama on their own." Leonard Nimoy's son has said that he is open to the idea of a CGI Spock appearing on Star Trek in the future. "Star Trek: Discovery" premieres September 24th, 2017.
