When Black Panther rolls around come February, it's going to showcase one of the strongest casts a solo superhero flick has ever seen. Directed and co-written by Ryan Coogler, the film features the solo film debut of T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) while introducing several Wakandan-based characters. Speaking with EW, Coogler was first drawn to comic books after seeing the mutant time-traveler Bishop. Coogler went down to his local comic book store to find more comics featuring black superheroes...enter Black Panther.
