VIDEO : Who Got Snubbed For This Year's Emmys?

Celebrity in this news:

This year's Emmy nominations are in, and while they feature many pleasant surprises - including nods for performances by Milo Ventimiglia, Millie Bobby Brown and Vanessa Bayer and shows such as "Stranger Things," "Saturday Night Live" and "Black Mirror," there are also several high profile snubs. Many actors and shows were left out of the Emmy race, including "The Leftovers" actors Justin Theroux and Carrie Coon, as the HBO drama failed to register any significant nominations in its final season. Additionally, Lena Dunham of "Girls" failed to find any Emmy love, even though three of the show's guest actors: Riz Ahmed, Matthew Rhys and Becky Ann Baker - got nods. Additionally, Christine Baranski of "The Good Fight" felt the snubbery, as did Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Issa Rae and Seth Meyers. Even Rami Malek of "Mr. Robot" got the cold shoulder this year, after winning in 2016. This year's 69th annual Emmy Awards will be hosted by Stephen Colbert and air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday Sept. 17th on CBS.
