In a recent interview, Wright talked about how he and Gunn needed to touch base ahead of their 2017 releases. He texted Gunn, worried that some of his Baby Driver songs are in Guardians 2.? The two went back and forth in their texts, asking one another which artists were being used. Wright stated, ?Neither of us divulged what the song was? we just went back and forth, and then we figured out that neither of us were using the same songs.? Both films rely heavily on music to set the scene and move the plot forward, so it?s good to know that these two have each other?s backs.
