Condolences poured in for ?True Blood? actor Nelsan Ellis, who died Saturday following complications from heart failure. The creator and executive producer of True Bloog said in a statement that ?Nelsan was a singular talent whose creativity never ceased to amaze him. Alan ball added that working with Nelsan was a privilege. Ellis played Lafayette on Ball?s vampire series throughout its seven-season run, which ended in August 2014. His film appearances included parts in ?The Soloist," ?The Help? and The Butler."
