Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland says if Spider-Man could choose another Avenger as a mentor, it would be Captain America. While Spider-Man: Homecoming marks the debut solo film for webslinger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he?s not the only iconic Marvel superhero featured in the film. Throughout the duration of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker/Spider-Man is mentored by Tony Stark/Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr., who not only is invaluable to his young counterpart in terms of technical support, but also by providing him with a vastly new-and-improved Spidey outfit and to teach him valuable life lessons including the importance of being responsible with his super powers.Spider-Man will someday have to learn that he needs to go it alone and realize on his own that with great power comes great responsibility.
