VIDEO : Emma Stone Says Male Co-Stars Willingly Took Pay Cuts

Emma Stone recently revealed that some of her male co-stars have taken pay cuts for films to ensure equality. In an interview with Out Magazine, Andrea Riseborough, and Billie Jean King, the actress said, ?In my career so far, I?ve needed my male co-stars to take a pay cut so that I may have parity with them. And that?s something they do for me because they feel it?s what?s right and fair." Riseborough and Stone star in the upcoming film ?Battle of the Sexes,? based on the legendary 1973 tennis match between King and Bobby Riggs, who will be played by Steve Carell. King has earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work in gender equality. ?Battle of the Sexes? hits theaters September 22nd.
