Matt Reeves wants 'The Batman' to be the start of a new trilogy.
Reeves said: "I have ideas about an arc, but really, the important thing is just to start, you have to start with one."
The plot of the solo Batman movie is under wraps, but some speculate it will take place before the events of 'Batman v Superman.'
In February it was announced that Reeves would be taking control of the DC Extended Universe.
