On Tuesday, a low-budget film called Car Dogs, became available iTunes and Amazon VOD and could ultimately launch a number of Hollywood careers. The film was funded by private equity in partnership with Arizona State University, employed a professional crew that was assisted by 85 student interns as well as another 15 recent ACU grads. The film, set in a car dealership, which stars George Lopez, Nia Vardalos and Octavia Spencer could potentially open many doors for these students in the film industry.
