Exciting news for Star Wars fans! The Hollywood Reporter has shared that For the first time since she played the character in The Force Awakens, Ridley returns as Rey in the new Disney short,"Sands of Jakku". Disney posted the first in a series of animated shorts that are a part of the Star Wars: Forces of Destiny campaign. Lupita Nyong'o, who plays Maz Kanata, is also a part of the nearly three-minute short that helps fill in the details of what happened just after Rey met BB-8.
