Director Edgar Wright loves shooting complicated scenes on the first day on a movie set. The acclaimed director filmed a very long tracking shot on the opening day of 'Baby Drive.' He believes it helped his cast and crew to better understand his aspirations for the crime thriller. Wright said he did a similar thing on Shaun of the Dead, shooting a complicated steady cam shot on the first day of shooting. Wright thinks its a good idea to shoot big sequences on the first day of filming because the whole cast and crew are involved in setting the shot up.
