Adele has been advised by her doctor not to perform, citing damaged vocal cords. The singer was then forced to cancel two sold out weekend shows at London's Wembley Stadium. She told her fans on social media that she considered performing but didn't think she would have been able to make it through the show. She said she even considered "miming" her songs but then decided not to because she had never done it before and she felt it wouldn't be fair to her fans.
