It may appear to be a silly summer comedy, but it?s one built on a depressing premise. Scott and Kate are suburban parents of a daughter who?s about to head off to college. There?s a hitch, however: the scholarship they?re counting on falls through.
So Scott and Kate decide to open a casino in their house to raise money for their daughter's education.
The film boasts a lot of funny people, but critics sink he movie with a 16% Rotten Tomatoes score.
