The movies 'Despicable Me 3' and 'Baby Driver' have taken over the top spots at the domestic box office. According to Variety, the third movie in the 'Despicable Me' series secured the #1 position Thursday night, taking in over $4.1 million from preview screenings. Projections add that the animated comedy will bring in between $90 and 100 million in its first three days domestically. Meanwhile, Edgar Wright's 'Baby Driver, which debuted on Wednesday and has received critical acclaim from critics and audiences, came in second Thursday night with $3.3 million. Projections add it could could make as much as $20 million its first five days.
