According to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige in a new interview this week, 'The Transporter' and 'Fast & Furious' actor Jason Statham was at one point in talks to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While promoting 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Feige explained that Marvel initially considered Statham for an undisclosed role in an MCU film, adding that things fell apart due to scheduling conflicts. When then asked by the website 'Den of Geek' if Statham was considered for a hero or villain role, the Marvel executive declined to say.
