Halle Berry has publicly made it known that her winning an Oscar for her performance in ?Monster?s Ball? did not really change hardships women of color face in Hollywood. Berry stated, ?It?s troubling. To say the least, it?s troubling? which is why I want to start directing. I want to start producing more, I want to start being a pat of making more opportunities for people of color.? Berry?s fans are excited that she is taking this leap, and know that her work will make a difference.
