The Los Angeles City Council approved plans on Tuesday for George Lucas's $1.5 billion Museum of Narrative Art. The council heard from Lucas himself before voting 14-0 to approve the museum's construction. It will be built adjacent to Lucas's alma mater, the University of Southern California. Lucas said the museum won't only focus on film, but other forms of narrative art as well like storytelling and painting.
