The Book of Henry is the latest film from Colin Trevorrow. It opened this past weekend to a sea of negative reviews. The cutesy family drama is Trevorrow?s first release since the billion-dollar making Jurassic World in 2015. The negative reviews have been some of the worst and harshest in recent memory. This wave of negative publicity is raising some eyebrows due to Trevorrow being the director Disney and Lucasfilm chose for 2019?s Star Wars: Episode IX. Whether or not Trevorrow will still have that job in the near future remains to be seen. This situation does raise some discussion over how he was picked for the role, and whether or not any fallout from The Book of Henry will affect how Disney chooses its directors going forward. Disney and Lucasfilms are still dealing with the fallout over the firing of Chris Miller and Phil Lord from the Han Solo standalone film.
