Ahead of the 2017 Emmy nominations, Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange find themselves in a much different scenario than their Feud alter egos Bette Davis and Joan Crawford were in after the 1962 release of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?. Unlike the famously divided screen icons, both Sarandon and Lange are considered safe bets for awards.
