In a new interview, ' Sopranos' creator David Chase tells Entertainment Weekly that although he has no interest in continuing the original show beyond its final episode, the program could still return in the future as a prequel. When asked about making new episodes of the legendary HBO drama, Chase said, "Everybody?s getting older, you can?t match people anymore. I could never see a return of the show except as a prequel.? In another interview last year, Chase also spoke of a possible ' Sopranos' spinoff show, saying, "If I had a really good idea and I thought it could be really entertaining and it wouldn?t upset what was done, I might do it."
