Following the original show?s cancellation back in 2014, Pysch: The Movie continues to pick up steam by casting Chuck star Zachary Levi as its main villain. Originally created for the USA Network by Steve Franks in 2006, the original detective comedy series Psych followed the chief exploits of pseudo-psychic and crime consultant Shawn Spencer (James Roday) and his faithful side-kick and best friend, Burton ?Gus? Guster (Dulé Hill). Over the course of eight seasons, Shawn and Gus aided the Santa Barbara Police Department in solving a series of particularly puzzling crimes, aided by Shawn?s superior instincts (which were masked as seemingly-paranormal abilities).
