VIDEO : Additional Financial Partner Joins Denzel Washington Legal Drama

First Look Media's newly branded studio Topic has signed on to co-produce and co-finance Dan Gilroys' upcoming drama, which stars Denzel Washington. The feature was previously titled Inner City. It follows a Los Angeles attorney who, after the death of his longtime partner, joins a prestigious law firm where he takes on a case that changes his entire life. The film also stars Colin Farrell, Hugo Armstrong and Moonlight 's Ashton Sanders. The film is being produced by Jennifer Fox and Escape Artists? Todd Black. The movie is eyeing a late 2017 release.
