During the Drama Actress Roundtable Elisabeth Moss discussed how she prepared for the rape scenes in Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.
Moss said "If you were being sexually assaulted on a regular basis, and you knew there was nothing you could do about it, what would you do?
She described the scenes as "extremely clinical, mechanical."
Moss emphasized There's nothing sexual remotely about it."
